[Biology-高級] What is co-enzyme?

Co-enzyme (輔酶) 大家都聽過，但實際上它是什麼？知道這個對你在生物的學習有很大幫助。

Co-enzyme is a substance to complete/ activate the enzyme. As seem from the figure, co-enzyme become a part of the enzyme so that the shape of the active site can be completed and then fit the substrate. The completed enzyme is regards as activated enzyme.

The co-enzyme you should know in DSE syllabus is acetyl co-enzyme A (acetyl-CoA). Although you are not required to learn the definition of co-enzyme, you would get a better understand if you know that.
